This appendix credits, promotes, and advertises the illustrators of the illustrations contained within this book. This section offers information on the illustrator such as experience, motivation, inspiration, style, technique, etc. Illustrators are denoted by their full name below.
Mr. Alex M. Kathilu – A Kenya native and east African artist who has mastered the art of capturing life, love, soul, and spirit through oil on canvas! Mr. Kathilu represents the essence and purity of self-made artistry. Though he has had no formal training, his hand is extremely controlled and his portraits phenomenal. Utilizing experience, passion, and a deep appreciation for art and those who take it seriously, Alex manifests stories unveiled in picture. The canvas of life that speaks volumes to those who would ask the question, “If these oils could talk what marvelous things would they speak of?” He draws his inspiration from life’s many experiences, the tutelage of professional artists, artistic experimentation, and the souls of his clients. With these tools, Alex has marked himself as a well-rounded professional artist who is a bit of a perfectionist with on the brink portraits that portray meaning, class, style, heart, and soul. His portfolio is complete with book and media illustrations, personal portraits, gallery/festival/etc. hangings, etc.
Mr. Barry M. Trotter – Born, raised, and extending from the valleys and flats of, Missouri, Barry M. Trotter is a creative and extremely talented artist who both ministers and administers healing to the brokenness of souls through led and ink sketches. Mr. Trotter is a well rounded artist mastering his hand in writing, and performing as well as drawing and illustrating. Barry emits a strong since of realness in all his art forms. His portraits portray visual images as a means of word translation; an avenue of unique description toward the identity of poetic picture painting. Inspired by God and influenced by life itself, Mr. Trotter searches the depths of his calling as he sets himself apart and develops himself into quite an established artist. Mr. Trotter is truly a novelty to uphold and a tremendous contribution of love, character, integrity, structure, strength, and spiritually to both young men and young women of the black community on United States’ soul and abroad.
